Rachel Mindrup graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She continued her education at the Loveland Academy of Fine Art as well as the Los Angeles Academy of Art. She's studied painting, drawing, and illustration under Glenn Vilppu, David Leffel, Serge Michaels, Tony Ryder, and Paul Wee as well as many other professional artists.

She now teaches art at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Neb., and is a professional illustrator and artist whose clients have included Peter Kiewit & Sons, Girls and Boys Town, Walgreens, Nebraska Furniture Mart, HDR, Creighton Univeristy and Miller Brewing Company.
